Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Solution Architect for an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with both business and technical teams to define and implement an enterprise data model that enhances the operational systems of the organization. Your focus will be on improving data quality, integration, and governance across various operational business systems, helping to shape the future of data management within a growing enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the enterprise data model across multiple operational business systems.
- Determine the management and mastering of core business data throughout its lifecycle.
- Improve data quality, consistency, and governance across critical operational systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
- Investigate and resolve operational data issues and inconsistencies across systems.
- Support data migration activities, ensuring accurate data mapping and governance.
- Establish long-term enterprise data standards and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or Data Solution Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of designing enterprise data models and core business entity relationships.
- Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and defining data governance.
- Proficient in data modelling and information architecture principles.
- Expertise in systems integration across multiple enterprise applications.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with database design principles.
- Experience supporting data migration and transformation initiatives.
- Desirable: Familiarity with telecoms or operational environments, Azure data technologies, and TM Forum standards.
