Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a mobile platform team focused on developing and maintaining a UK government app. Your role involves making infrastructure changes, configuring cloud services, and ensuring the documentation is kept current, all while working closely with a senior engineer in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Make infrastructure changes in CloudFormation and Terraform, guided by a senior engineer.
- Configure AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, KMS, and WAF.
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect changes in infrastructure.
- Proactively communicate any issues or questions regarding the infrastructure changes.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with AWS is essential.
- Working knowledge of CloudFormation or Terraform required.
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda and API Gateway is necessary.
- Strong attention to security best practices and careful implementation is crucial.
