Overview
The Microsoft D365 CRM Consultant will work on a contract basis to provide expert guidance and solutions for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement projects. This role primarily involves remote work, with occasional travel to London for important workshops and stakeholder sessions. The consultant will leverage their strong functional expertise in D365 to shape solutions, lead functional design and oversee best-practice CRM processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional design, configuration, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
- Conduct workshops to gather requirements and define robust CRM processes.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Configure entities, forms, views, workflows, and business rules within D365.
- Support integrations with other systems such as ERP and marketing platforms.
- Collaborate with technical teams on customisations and API integrations.
- Provide guidance on CRM governance, data quality, and user adoption.
- Assist with testing cycles and training materials for go-live support.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 CRM / CE Consultant in medium-to-large transformations.
- Strong functional knowledge of D365 modules, including Sales and Customer Service.
- Hands-on configuration experience across core CRM components.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform including Power Automate and Dataverse.
- Experience in delivering workshops and solution design.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with effective stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with integration patterns and data migration approaches.
- Excellent documentation skills, including functional specs and configuration guides.
