DevOps Engineer

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with the mobile platform team on a UK government app, focusing on infrastructure changes and maintenance of supporting services. This role involves working with cloud technologies in a remote-first environment while contributing to a system that is critical for public service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Make infrastructure changes in CloudFormation and Terraform as guided by a senior engineer.
• Configure Lambda, API Gateway, KMS, and WAF services.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation reflecting changes made.
• Flag issues and seek clarity when uncertain about tasks.

Requirements

• Demonstrable commercial experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Lambda and API Gateway.
• Strong focus on security and detail in operational tasks.
