Overview
We are seeking an experienced IFS Solution Architect to lead the solution design and global template for a major international IFS Cloud transformation programme on a remote, contract basis. The successful candidate will work with multiple stakeholders across various countries and business functions, ensuring the consistency of the global IFS Cloud solution architecture during its rollout phases while also overseeing critical finance integrations and legacy system transitions.
Responsibilities
- Own the global IFS Cloud solution architecture, ensuring consistency across all deployment waves.
- Lead design authority, reviewing change requests and justifying local adaptations to the global template.
- Manage the Finance solution design, including chart of accounts, company structures, and project accounting.
- Oversee integration between Finance, Projects, and other operational functions for accurate financial reporting.
- Lead the architecture for decommissioning legacy finance systems, including data migration and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and fiscal localisation requirements across Europe and the Americas.
- Challenge programme plans and design decisions to minimize risk and avoid unnecessary rework.
- Provide architectural oversight during SIT, UAT, and go-live phases.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an IFS Solution Architect in international businesses.
- Strong hands-on experience with IFS Cloud, particularly in Finance and Project modules.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-country ERP implementations.
- Deep understanding of Finance architecture, including financial controls and statutory requirements.
- Experience with integrating Finance and operational modules like Enterprise Asset Management.
- Familiarity with legacy finance migrations and data reconciliation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge systems integrators and stakeholders.
- Must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to travel internationally.
