Overview
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will be engaged on a short-term contract to assist in mapping and documenting the existing technology landscape of a leading hospitality client. This hands-on role involves collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders to understand and document the current systems, applications, and their interdependencies, specifically focusing on systems mapping rather than strategy or solution development.
Responsibilities
- Map and document the existing technology and application landscape.
- Identify system integrations, data flows, dependencies, and system ownership.
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather information and understand existing processes.
- Review existing documentation, identify gaps, and produce clear systems diagrams.
- Assess and recommend suitable tools for maintaining technology landscape documentation.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst, Business Architect, or Senior Systems Analyst.
- Previous experience in the hospitality or retail sector.
- Proven experience in as-is systems mapping, application landscape documentation, and technology discovery.
- Experience documenting system integrations, data flows, and technical dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
- Experience working across complex, multi-function organizations.
