Overview
We are seeking a User Researcher for a 3-6 month contract within a public sector project, primarily focused on enhancing user experience through research methodologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-functional agile team, engaging closely with Product Managers and Interaction Designers to gather and analyze user feedback. The role allows for remote work with occasional travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research using a variety of methods to uncover insights and evaluate solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Interaction Designers to ensure research aligns with project goals.
- Synthesize research results to inform design decisions and stakeholder engagements.
- Gather and analyze user feedback through surveys, support ticket data, and structured testing sessions.
- Manage communication with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on research outcomes.
- Document and present research findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a User Researcher within government or public sector projects.
- Familiarity with working in multi-functional agile teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize feedback from diverse sources.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
