Overview
The Information Technology Project Manager will oversee the execution of multiple technology projects for a luxury vehicle manufacturer within the automotive industry. This role involves managing project planning, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and reporting while ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The contractor will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Build project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change.
- Track spending and ensure benefits remain on target.
- Run steering committees, report progress, and keep stakeholders engaged.
- Ensure smooth project closure, capturing lessons learned, and facilitating handover.
- Govern software products throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Proven experience delivering IT projects end to end using waterfall methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing budgets up to £500k.
- ITIL awareness preferred.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and make quick decisions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, production builds, and CAD/CAM processes.
