Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to manage complex infrastructure separation and migration projects, particularly in M&A contexts. This fully remote role requires oversight of the systems integrator while delivering a standalone target infrastructure architecture. The Infrastructure Lead will work closely with executives and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution, with occasional travel for client workshops.
Responsibilities
- Drive infrastructure design decisions and provide broad advice and governance.
- Engage with executives and influence stakeholders.
- Manage scope, quality, cost, and progress of the systems integrator’s work.
- Own and define target infrastructure architecture for standalone operations.
- Set separation routes for Day 1, TSA period, and TSA exit.
- Ensure infrastructure dependencies for SAP ECC carve-out including hosting and connectivity.
- Define coexistence requirements for Day 1 and scope for TSA services.
- Manage information flow within the separation team, translating technical terms into business language.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading infrastructure projects in M&A or similar fast-paced environments.
- Consulting background preferred, with a pragmatic and self-starting approach.
- Expertise in infrastructure architecture including hosting, network, security, and identity management.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC systems and infrastructure dependencies.
- Skilled in migration planning and execution.
