Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer for an initial six-month remote contract based in the UK. In this role, you will deliver full-stack software solutions using .NET, React, and TypeScript, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business requirements. Your expertise in Azure cloud environments will be crucial as you contribute to the development of robust and maintainable software while working autonomously within a client team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software using .NET, contributing to full-stack applications and services.
- Build or enhance front-end functionality using React and TypeScript, and work with the client team to deliver features that meet agreed requirements.
- Apply your Azure experience when working with cloud-based solutions and take account of relevant technical and operational considerations.
- Take ownership of assigned development tasks, manage your work effectively, and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to clarify requirements, assess options, and support informed technical decisions.
- Share recommendations on development practices and contribute to the quality, maintainability, and reliability of the solutions being delivered.
- Work remotely while remaining engaged and responsive to the wider team.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in .NET development.
- Strong understanding of full-stack software delivery.
- Practical experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services or environments.
- Ability to contribute across both back-end and front-end development.
- Strong communication skills for discussing technical matters clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Self-sufficient, organised, and capable of progressing work autonomously.
- Confidence in consulting on best practices and collaborating to reach effective solutions.
