Overview
The Interim Director of Technical Transformation will lead a pivotal change within a well-established UK media organization undergoing significant technical transformation. This role focuses on providing architecture direction while assisting engineering teams in adopting Agentic and Design Engineering practices. The ideal candidate will blend senior technical leadership with hands-on experience to drive technical change within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction for engineering teams during a technical transformation.
- Develop and implement Agentic Engineering practices from the ground up.
- Design both end-state and transitional architectures for various projects.
- Facilitate the productionization of LLM-powered applications and AI solutions.
- Establish engineering standards, governance, and guidelines to ensure quality.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams through the transition and technical changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role with hands-on architecture expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to build Agentic Engineering practices from scratch.
- Experience with end-state and transitional architecture frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of LLM-powered applications and AI productionization.
- Familiarity with establishing engineering standards and governance.
