Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim E-Rostering Project Manager to support an NHS Trust in a significant workforce transformation initiative. This role will focus on the critical improvements needed for Nursing and AHP rostering and planning, thereby enhancing operational efficiency within a complex healthcare environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to lead the delivery of an e-rostering program, ensuring effective workforce optimization and modernized rostering processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of medical staffing e-rostering initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to enhance doctor rota management and workforce planning processes.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices in job planning and rostering.
- Analyze and improve existing workforce systems, reporting, and data quality processes.
- Manage project plans, including risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive consistency across digital and manual workforce processes.
- Produce meaningful workforce and rota reports to support operational decision-making.
- Engage effectively with workforce, HR, medical staffing, and program teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering e-rostering or workforce transformation projects within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical staffing, doctor rotas, job planning, and workforce management processes.
- Experience working with rostering platforms such as Allocate, Optima, or similar workforce management systems.
- Ability to navigate complex environments involving digital systems, spreadsheets, and manual records.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working effectively across clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Demonstrable project management experience with a successful track record in workforce-focused programs.
