Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim E-Rostering Project Manager to lead an essential project within a healthcare organization focused on optimizing medical staffing and doctor rostering operations. The contractor will engage with clinical, operational, and project stakeholders to drive improvements and enhance reporting capabilities in a complex healthcare environment. This role will involve significant hands-on project leadership, with a commitment to delivering successful workforce transformation initiatives over the project's duration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of medical staffing e-rostering initiatives across the organisation.
- Work with clinical and operational teams to improve doctor rota management and workforce planning processes.
- Support the development and implementation of job planning and rostering best practices.
- Analyse and improve existing workforce systems, reporting, and data quality processes.
- Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive consistency across both digital and manual workforce processes.
- Produce meaningful workforce and rota reporting to support operational decision-making.
- Engage effectively with workforce, HR, medical staffing, and programme teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering e-rostering or workforce transformation projects within a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical staffing, doctor rotas, job planning, and workforce management processes.
- Experience working with rostering platforms such as Allocate, Optima, or similar workforce management systems.
- Ability to navigate complex environments where processes may span digital systems, spreadsheets, and manual records.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Demonstrable project management experience with successful delivery of workforce-focused programmes.
