Overview
The Interim Exit Support role is a critical position focused on supporting a private equity-backed insurance business through its exit preparations. Working closely with the CFO, executive leadership, and external advisers, the contractor will ensure that the business is ready for a successful transaction. This role requires a blend of strong transaction experience and a deep understanding of the insurance sector, within a fast-paced and commercial environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and management of the transaction data room.
- Coordinate information requests from advisers, lenders, and prospective investors.
- Support vendor due diligence workstreams, ensuring financial information is transaction-ready.
- Partner with corporate finance advisers, financial due diligence providers, and legal advisers.
- Develop and enhance financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
- Produce management presentations, investor materials, and bidder information requests.
- Identify and address potential diligence issues with CFO and leadership team.
- Coordinate internal workstreams across various functions, including finance and compliance.
Requirements
- ACA qualification from a Big 4 or leading advisory firm.
- Experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, or Corporate Finance.
- Prior experience in the insurance sector is essential.
- Previous involvement with private equity-backed transactions or exit events.
- Strong understanding of due diligence processes and transaction execution.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination abilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
