Interim Exit Support

Overview

The Interim Exit Support role is a critical position focused on supporting a private equity-backed insurance business through its exit preparations. Working closely with the CFO, executive leadership, and external advisers, the contractor will ensure that the business is ready for a successful transaction. This role requires a blend of strong transaction experience and a deep understanding of the insurance sector, within a fast-paced and commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and management of the transaction data room.
  • Coordinate information requests from advisers, lenders, and prospective investors.
  • Support vendor due diligence workstreams, ensuring financial information is transaction-ready.
  • Partner with corporate finance advisers, financial due diligence providers, and legal advisers.
  • Develop and enhance financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
  • Produce management presentations, investor materials, and bidder information requests.
  • Identify and address potential diligence issues with CFO and leadership team.
  • Coordinate internal workstreams across various functions, including finance and compliance.

Requirements

  • ACA qualification from a Big 4 or leading advisory firm.
  • Experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, or Corporate Finance.
  • Prior experience in the insurance sector is essential.
  • Previous involvement with private equity-backed transactions or exit events.
  • Strong understanding of due diligence processes and transaction execution.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination abilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
