Overview
The iOS Developer contractor role is a six-month position focused on enhancing a high-traffic mobile app utilized in public sector services. Working primarily in a remote setting with weekly in-office collaboration in Manchester, the contractor will engage in end-to-end feature development while ensuring high testing and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Integrate internal government services into a mobile app.
- Develop features end-to-end with a focus on quality and testing.
- Maintain high standards of automated testing across various levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure clean architecture principles.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Participate in performance testing and optimization.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Familiarity with MVVM-C architecture.
- Experience in automated testing, including unit and integration tests.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Desirable experience with Objective-C and K6 performance testing.
- Prior government or public sector experience is essential.
- Eligible for SC clearance.
