Overview
We are seeking a Kotlin Developer for a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. In this position, you will collaborate with a dedicated development team to create and support secure applications for a government client. Your main focus will be on delivering high-quality software in a public sector environment while following Agile development practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Kotlin.
- Build robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and other technical teams.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support the delivery of secure, high-quality software in a government environment.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing with Kotlin.
- Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices, and modern development practices.
- Strong understanding of testing, debugging, and version control.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience in public sector, government, defense, or other secure environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Active SC Clearance required.
