Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer for a 6-month project with a rapidly growing AI company. This role focuses on building, productionizing, and shipping models into real-world environments, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy a practical, delivery-oriented engineering role. The position will be fully remote, and applicants must be UK-based, preferably with active SC Clearance or be SC eligible.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
- Build robust data, modeling, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with teams to prototype and implement machine learning solutions.
- Validate model outputs with real-world data and adjustments.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in building and deploying machine learning models.
- Strong proficiency in Python, ideally with experience in NumPy and SciPy.
- Experience moving models from prototype through production to deployment.
- Solid understanding of numerical modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hands-on, delivery-focused engineering environment.
