Overview
The Mobile App Tech Lead will oversee the technical direction of a React Native application for both iOS and Android platforms in a remote working environment. This role is integral to a major upcoming release and involves collaboration with a strong team and vendors, focusing on architecture, engineering standards, and integration with backend systems. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring high quality delivery and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Own the mobile architecture and integration governance end-to-end.
- Review external vendor delivery for solution quality and technical risks.
- Act as the key link between the delivery partner and internal backend teams, resolving blockers.
- Lead technical discovery and feasibility work alongside product teams and designers.
- Define the mobile testing strategy and oversee quality controls.
- Represent the mobile product in technical governance and planning forums.
- Mentor engineers and foster a fast-paced delivery culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading the architecture and delivery of React Native apps for iOS and Android.
- Strong technical leadership with experience in setting architecture and overseeing code quality.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-visibility projects.
