Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Functional Test Lead with expertise in API and automation testing within the Asset Management and Financial Services sector. In this role, you will work closely with the executive leadership team to establish and own the non-functional testing strategy for the organization, ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of systems through comprehensive testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in delivering non-functional testing for large-scale transformation programs, particularly familiar with Charles River Development and other asset management frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Non-Functional Test strategy covering performance, load, volume, scalability, resilience, and reliability.
- Define and manage non-functional requirements (NFRs) in collaboration with business and platform teams.
- Design and execute end-to-end non-functional testing scenarios across integrated ecosystems.
- Deliver load, stress, and peak processing tests, ensuring readiness for month-end and quarter-end scenarios.
- Provide NFT go-live assurance through risk articulation and readiness assessments.
- Support test automation activities, contributing to existing frameworks and automating appropriate scenarios.
- Collaborate with test automation engineers to ensure comprehensive support for non-functional objectives.
- Promote intelligent automation practices that enhance regression coverage and testing efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Non-Functional Test Lead in an Asset Management or Financial Services environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in performance, load, and volume testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6.
- Demonstrated experience in executing non-functional testing for large-scale transformation programs.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and practices as they relate to non-functional testing.
- Confidence in collaborating with executive leadership and managing non-functional strategy.
- Experience designing and executing thorough testing scenarios across various layers, including API and UI.
- Recent experience in a similar NFT Lead role within the Asset Management industry is preferred.
- Advocate for CI/CD-aligned quality practices integrating functional and non-functional testing outputs.
