Overview
In this role, the Odoo Developer will work on a contract basis to enhance and maintain the organization's internal Odoo Enterprise platform. Collaborating with the Business Systems team, the contractor will be responsible for hands-on development, implementation of new features, and addressing technical challenges in a predominantly remote setting with occasional on-site meetings in London.
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality in the Odoo Enterprise environment.
- Enhance existing Odoo modules and solutions.
- Support third-party integrations with the platform.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting the live platform.
- Manage the development, testing, and release processes independently.
- Ensure clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with team members to align on development goals and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Odoo development with a strong commercial background.
- Expertise in developing bespoke Odoo modules and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of Python and Odoo ORM.
- Familiarity with XML, QWeb, and OWL technologies.
- Experience with recent versions of Odoo, preferably version 17 or higher.
- Proficient with Odoo.sh or similar deployment setups.
- Experience integrating external platforms and APIs.
- Solid knowledge of Git and structured release processes.
