Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with current Security Clearance (SC) to support a secure transformation programme. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful Power BI reporting solutions that enable informed decision making within a professional and experienced delivery team. This hands-on role requires expertise in developing and optimizing robust dashboards and reports in a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build efficient data models using Power Query and DAX.
- Transform and model data from multiple sources, including SQL Server.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and create technical solutions.
- Optimize report performance and enhance user experience.
- Support testing, documentation, and deployment of reporting solutions.
- Work closely with data, infrastructure, and project teams during delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
- Proficient in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries.
- Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation methodologies.
- Knowledge of Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Exposure to SSIS, SSRS, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Current, active Security Clearance (SC) is essential.
