Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a major financial systems transformation initiative focused on integrating Procurement and Inventory processes with a shared Oracle Fusion platform. This remote position will involve collaborating with application architects, business analysts, and integration teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution across various systems, including Oracle Fusion and SAP Ariba. The role requires a strong understanding of business processes and technical architecture to bridge the gap between functional design and the overall solution assurance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with application architects, business analysts, and development teams to align system designs and requirements.
- Analyze legacy Financial Management System customizations and identify how they should translate into future architecture.
- Define required business services and integration capabilities for the middleware layer.
- Review and assure functional designs related to procurement and inventory processes.
- Ensure adherence to architectural principles across applications and integrations.
- Provide assurance into both design and testing phases of the project.
- Support the understanding of procurement, inventory, and financial management processes within the context of the transformation.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, and financial management processes.
- Expertise in middleware and integration architecture with understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
- Previous experience in ERP/Financial Management System transformation, particularly in a multi-system integration environment.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and/or SAP Ariba is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to provide architectural assurance and support design decisions across various teams.
- Experience with legacy-to-cloud transformation projects and complex integrations.
