Overview
The Data Platform Engineer will be engaged in a 6-month contract, primarily working remotely with occasional on-site collaboration in Northampton. This role focuses on leveraging data engineering skills with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Fabric, while also incorporating platform and DevOps expertise utilizing tools such as Terraform and GitHub.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Manage version control and CI/CD processes with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data engineering initiatives.
- Optimize and monitor data platform performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Data Platform Engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of Power BI and SQL Server is a plus.
