Overview
As a Principal AI Engineer, you will join a leading global financial services organization focused on developing AI solutions that enhance trading and investment decision-making. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to build production-grade AI systems, leveraging market and customer data to create predictive models and recommendations. You will be integral to the technical strategy, ensuring AI solutions align with rigorous governance and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Build production-grade AI and ML solutions in Python.
- Develop predictive and recommendation models using customer and market data.
- Apply LLM, agentic AI, and RAG technologies as relevant.
- Define model evaluation, monitoring, and controls.
- Take AI solutions through governance, validation, and production approval.
- Integrate new AI capabilities into an existing enterprise environment.
Requirements
- Strong commercial AI / ML engineering experience.
- Excellent production-level Python skills.
- Proven experience taking AI or ML systems into production.
- Strong machine learning fundamentals.
- Experience with LLM and agentic AI tooling.
- Familiarity with model governance, validation, or production approval.
- Comfortable owning technical direction while remaining hands-on.
- Experience in capital markets, trading, or regulated financial services is highly beneficial.
