Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer to join an innovative HealthTech startup focused on developing a leading consumer healthcare platform. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CTO, founders, and cross-functional teams to shape and implement new product features that enhance user health and wellness. This role offers the opportunity for significant autonomy and ownership in a dynamic engineering environment dedicated to building impactful health solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features for the consumer healthcare platform.
- Collaborate with CTO and product teams to define product requirements and clarify engineering solutions.
- Utilize Python to build high-quality, scalable code across the tech stack.
- Engage in zero-to-one product development, addressing loosely defined problems from concept to execution.
- Integrate functionality with various systems, including APIs and databases.
- Participate in iterative development processes to refine product offerings based on user feedback.
- Work onsite in a collaborative team environment operating five days a week in Shoreditch.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python with extensive engineering experience.
- Demonstrated zero-to-one experience in building features or products.
- Strong product-minded approach to engineering, considering both the 'what' and 'why' of development.
- Ability to work across the technology stack, including APIs and databases.
- Experience with React is essential; React Native experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in product development is preferred.
- Experience in a regulated industry, specifically HealthTech, is a bonus.
