Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer with expertise in Python and React to join an early-stage HealthTech company focused on developing a consumer healthcare product. In this role, you will work closely with the founders and engineering team, taking ideas from conception to production while driving product decisions in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with founding team and engineers to conceptualize and develop product features.
- Build and ship high-quality software using Python and React.
- Implement solutions for async systems and data processing.
- Design and maintain SQL and relational databases to support product functionality.
- Utilize AWS or GCP for deployment and infrastructure needs.
- Gather customer feedback to iterate on product features and improvements.
- Own the end-to-end product development process from initial idea to production.
Requirements
- Proven Python development skills with a focus on engineering best practices.
- Strong experience with React and full-stack development.
- Understanding of async systems and data processing.
- Experience with SQL and relational database management.
- Working knowledge of AWS or GCP for cloud services.
- Genuine experience in building and shipping 0→1 consumer products.
- A minimum of 5 years in software engineering roles, preferably in HealthTech, FinTech, or similar regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise product judgement and ownership.
