Overview
The Principal Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in a major enterprise AI transformation program for an investment management company. This senior, hands-on position involves defining technological directions and guiding both client stakeholders and engineering teams through the complexities of AI solution delivery, ensuring effective outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Own architecture for enterprise GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Lead AI initiatives from discovery through to production.
- Translate ambiguous business and technical challenges into clear architecture and delivery plans.
- Provide technical direction to a small team of engineers.
- Engage directly with senior and C-level client stakeholders.
- Challenge technical decisions while remaining close to the engineering processes.
- Collaborate across the AI, cloud, data, platform, and integration ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Principal or Staff+ level AI Architect/Engineer.
- Strong background in GenAI and LLM architecture and production delivery.
- Experience with Agentic AI, RAG, orchestration, and relevant tools.
- Broad knowledge in cloud, data, and platform architecture.
- Solid hands-on engineering foundation.
- Experience leading senior engineering teams.
- Excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to take ownership of undefined problems and drive solutions forward.
