Overview
The Data Transformation Product Manager will play a crucial role in supporting a major overhaul of the organization's data infrastructure. Working collaboratively with Data Product, Engineering, Architecture, and business teams, the contractor will drive data governance, manage data modeling, and ensure the delivery of business value through effective data management practices during a significant Snowflake data warehouse transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of new data domains as part of a major data warehouse transformation.
- Shape how data is structured, modeled, and made available across the organization.
- Drive data governance, quality, and reusable data capabilities.
- Work with stakeholders to understand opportunities and translate them into data requirements.
- Prioritize demand across the wider Data Product team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Data Product Management and Data Transformation.
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms and data warehouse modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of data modeling and governance best practices.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar modern data environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Engineering and Architecture teams.
- A technical background in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
