Overview
As a Product Owner at a Commodities trading firm specializing in Freight, LNG & Logistics trading, you will manage digital products critical to the trading operations. Collaborating closely with internal traders and external providers, you will ensure that product development aligns with business needs and enhances trading efficiency. This role focuses on delivering a product roadmap and facilitating the communication between stakeholders and the engineering team to prioritize and refine features.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day product management of digital products used by trading team and clients.
- Collaborate with internal traders and external providers to gather and shape product requirements.
- Manage the delivery roadmap and ensure timely execution of product enhancements.
- Conduct refinement sessions with the engineering team to streamline development processes.
- Monitor product performance and track key metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal traders and manage ad-hoc client requests.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner in a trading environment.
- Strong understanding of Commodities trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics.
- Proficient in agile methodologies and product management practices.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on product delivery.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and engage effectively with stakeholders.
