Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead strategic business initiatives and complex migration projects within a prominent global financial technology organization. This role demands an experienced delivery leader who can operate at an executive level, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and managing large-scale business change programs effectively. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and facilitating successful customer transitions in a fast-paced international environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a complex payments customer migration program.
- Drive product gap analysis and coordinate closure activities for successful migration.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams to ensure timely delivery of migration requirements.
- Manage end-to-end migration planning, including scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support migration readiness.
- Track program progress and report regularly to senior stakeholders.
- Establish governance forums and steering committees for project oversight.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large-scale strategic programs within Financial Services or related sectors.
- Strong background in leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex integration programs, including post-merger activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior executives.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to align projects with business objectives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification required.
- Experience within regulated financial environments and exposure to global program delivery.
