Overview
The Prompt Engineer will play a critical role in developing a new Mortgage Sales System within a leading UK mortgage technology provider. Collaborating with stakeholders across the company, the successful candidate will translate business requirements into high-quality AI prompts and workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability of outputs. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Claude and Claude Code, who can effectively engage with teams to refine and optimize AI-driven processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design high-quality prompts and AI workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes.
- Test and refine prompts for improved accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Provide insights on LLM behavior, guardrails, and management of AI outputs.
- Assist in translating complex ideas into workable AI instructions.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Claude and Claude Code.
- Proven prompt engineering experience, including design and optimization.
- Excellent skills in requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to translate business processes into effective AI prompts.
- Experience in testing and refining AI outputs for quality assurance.
- Understanding of LLM behavior and management techniques.
- Mortgage, lending, or financial services experience is a plus.
