Overview
The RPA Developer will play a crucial role in migrating existing automation processes from Blue Prism to Power Automate Desktop Flows within a financial services context. Collaborating closely with in-house and offshore RPA development teams, the contractor will assess, rebuild, and ensure the suitability of automations in the new platform, requiring strong expertise in Power Automate. The position is designed for immediate start and offers flexibility for the right candidate regarding remote work.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of existing automation processes from Blue Prism to Power Automate Desktop Flows.
- Collaborate with in-house RPA Developers and offshore teams to assess current automation suitability for Power Automate.
- Rebuild automations ensuring adherence to RPA best practices and principles.
- Conduct hands-on development work to facilitate a smooth transition to new automation platforms.
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing automations during the migration process.
- Ensure thorough documentation of migrated processes and any changes made during the transition.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with both Blue Prism and Power Automate (Desktop Flows mandatory).
- Solid understanding of RPA best practices and automation principles.
- Experience working within the Financial Services or Insurance sector is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed team, including in-house and offshore resources.
- Immediate availability for interviews and project commencement is required.
