Overview
In this role, the contractor will serve as a Salesforce Architect specializing in Financial Services Cloud, contributing to various projects on a fractional basis of 20 hours per week. They will work closely with clients in the financial services sector to design and implement effective Salesforce solutions, providing strategic direction and ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on Salesforce capabilities and best practices.
- Facilitate discovery workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solution designs.
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Review solution designs and integrations to ensure quality and scalability.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or Senior Salesforce Consultant with architecture responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 Salesforce Financial Services Cloud implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and solution design principles.
- Ability to engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within distributed teams.
- Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect are desirable.
