Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with a finance background to join a professional body on a contract basis. This fully remote role requires the candidate to work US timezone hours and is focused on delivering actionable insights through data analysis. The successful applicant will manage the entire reporting cycle, from data sourcing to reporting, providing key information to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Transform raw data into insightful, well-structured Power BI reports.
- Write and optimise SQL to extract, model, and validate data.
- Engage directly with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Work autonomously and in an agile manner, iterating and improving output without close supervision.
Requirements
- Strong command of SQL and Power BI.
- Proven ability to convert stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
- Confident, self-directed working style.
- Availability to work US timezone hours.
- A background in finance or experience in financial reporting is desirable.
