Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with active Security Check (SC) clearance to join a collaborative digital team focused on delivering critical projects in a fast-paced agile environment. This remote/hybrid position will require onsite presence in Portsmouth as needed, allowing the successful candidate to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance business processes and deliver impactful digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and the broader business by facilitating effective communication.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand user needs, ensuring their requirements are met.
- Lead workshops to gather insights and define business requirements accurately.
- Map business processes to identify areas of improvement and streamline operations.
- Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes for development teams.
- Analyze costs, benefits, risks, and constraints to support decision-making processes.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success measures to evaluate project effectiveness.
- Maintain active collaboration with agile software development teams to ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within agile software development teams.
- Strong experience in stakeholder mapping, engagement, and relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze costs, benefits, risks, and resource requirements.
- Experience in defining KPIs, success measures, and cost baselines.
- Current active SC clearance is required for this role.
