Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join a major transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract, working primarily in a remote capacity with occasional travel to London. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative engineering team focused on delivering scalable solutions across various Salesforce Clouds, enhancing their expertise and contributing to platform-wide standards and practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches.
- Build scalable Lightning experiences to enhance user and agent productivity.
- Develop integrations with external systems utilizing modern APIs.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust platform solutions.
- Contribute to shared engineering standards and CI/CD practices.
- Support platform improvements through active participation in engineering discussions.
Requirements
- Strong Salesforce development experience with declarative configuration and Apex development.
- Experience with Lightning Experience and Lightning Components.
- Proficiency in development tools such as VS Code or IntelliJ.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience building or consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
- Experience with Service Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud is advantageous.
