Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to lead functional logistics activities within a hybrid work environment. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement effective warehouse management solutions using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). This role combines strong managerial capabilities with deep technical knowledge in warehouse and logistics processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP EWM functional activities and manage logistics-related business requirements.
- Ensure effective implementation, configuration, and optimization of warehouse management solutions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of warehouse operations to support team and process improvements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team throughout projects.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of overall SAP / IT experience with strong hands-on SAP EWM expertise.
- Extensive experience in warehouse and logistics business processes.
- Proven managerial experience, including team leadership and project delivery management.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound processing.
- Experience in SAP EWM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects is necessary.
