Overview
As an SAP Test Manager specializing in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), you will lead the testing activities for a large-scale SAP transformation program. Collaborating with various business, technical, and third-party teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that testing processes meet quality standards and that the solutions are ready for implementation. This hybrid role requires a significant level of hands-on test management experience to navigate complex payroll implementations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the overall test plan across all testing phases including SIT, UAT, Regression, and Data Migration.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams, suppliers, and business teams.
- Manage test environments, test data, defect triage, and reporting effectively.
- Ensure that entry/exit criteria and quality gates are met before advancing through phases.
- Provide regular status reports and risk management updates to program leadership.
- Support business users during UAT planning, execution, and sign-off processes.
- Collaborate closely with Payroll subject matter experts, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful go-live and hypercare activities.
Requirements
- Proven test management experience on enterprise SAP programs, particularly with SAP ECP or SuccessFactors Payroll.
- Strong understanding of the full test lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, Regression, and Data Migration.
- Experience managing test environments, data, defect triage, and reporting at scale.
- Ability to confidently own quality gates and manage entry/exit criteria within a governance framework.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business, technical, and third-party teams.
- Strong reporting, risk management, and governance expertise at the program level.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to work UK hours in a hybrid setting.
