Overview
The Program Test Manager will oversee the end-to-end testing strategy for a significant business and technology transformation initiative within the financial services sector. Working closely with multiple teams and stakeholders, this role ensures effective governance, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance throughout the program's delivery. The individual will leverage their extensive experience in managing testing across various large-scale transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure robust governance and regulatory compliance throughout the testing phases.
- Lead the execution of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), End-to-End (E2E) testing, and release testing activities.
- Manage relationships with large testing teams and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and outcomes to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Adapt testing methodologies to fit Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project requirements.
- Understand and adhere to regulatory and risk frameworks relevant to the financial services industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Program Test Manager within the Financial Services sector.
- Demonstrated experience in testing large-scale transformation programmes, including core platform and regulatory initiatives.
- Strong understanding of complex system landscapes and integrations with third-party vendors.
- Experience leading various testing phases: SIT, UAT, E2E, and release testing.
- Ability to manage large testing teams and supplier relationships effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at an executive level.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory and risk frameworks within banking, insurance, or capital markets environments.
