Engineering Readiness And Delivery Coordinator

Overview

The Engineering Readiness and Delivery Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful migration of applications and workloads to a cloud-first operating model within a global payments technology business. This hands-on position requires collaboration with various teams, including engineering, platform, security, and QA, to validate readiness and resolve any issues that may impede migration. The coordinator will challenge readiness assessments and provide guidance to programme leadership, ensuring every aspect of the migration is thoroughly evaluated.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering readiness across assigned applications, platforms, and migration move groups.
  • Validate technical evidence before migration approval, including remediation, environment readiness, and testing.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Cloud Platform, Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, QA, Operations, and external partners.
  • Challenge readiness findings and recommend delays where necessary, ensuring all concerns are addressed.
  • Provide technically-grounded inputs to programme leadership without owning overall programme governance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in coordinating technical delivery, application readiness, or migration preparation in complex environments.
  • Solid working knowledge of Azure/AWS, migration patterns, networking, IAM, observability, CI/CD, and operational readiness.
  • Proven ability to influence engineering teams without formal authority.
  • Experience in payments, financial services, or regulated environments is a strong plus.
