Overview
We are looking for a Senior Information Technology Project Manager to lead a portfolio of IT infrastructure, cyber-security, resilience, and regulatory compliance projects in a regulated financial services environment. The candidate will manage multiple projects across EMEA and APAC, ensuring deadlines are met and contributing to governance and reporting initiatives. This is a hybrid role that requires someone capable of swiftly adapting to projects already in progress while also taking on new initiatives as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory deadlines.
- Coordinate multi-regional project delivery across EMEA and APAC.
- Oversee third-party and vendor management, including contract and cost considerations.
- Produce project briefs, status reports, risk logs, and financial documentation for stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration with IT leadership and project Steering Committees.
- Implement structured PMO methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quickly assimilate into existing projects and drive them towards successful completion.
- Adapt to changing project needs and technology landscapes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering IT infrastructure and operations projects in a regulated financial-services environment.
- Hands-on experience with compliance initiatives and an understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks such as FCA and NYDFS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects with strict deadlines.
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure, operations, and cyber-security requirements.
- Experience with governance and reporting, particularly for senior-level stakeholders.
- Recognized project management certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM or equivalent).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile/Scrum or ITIL.
- Technical background in cloud and observability technologies is an advantage.
