Overview
The Network Test Engineer will play a critical role in verifying the integrity and functionality of network infrastructure solutions. This position involves collaborating with network engineers and project teams to ensure that solutions meet operational requirements and security standards. The role requires hands-on expertise in testing network components and creating thorough documentation for the testing process.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and document test cases for network infrastructure solutions.
- Create test scripts based on High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs).
- Log, track, and retest defects in collaboration with network engineers.
- Capture test evidence and maintain documentation throughout the testing process.
- Support test environment preparation and network validation.
- Conduct performance testing while ensuring compliance with customer and security standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network infrastructure or telecoms testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco-based networking technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation.
- Experience utilizing ALM or similar test management tools for testing and reporting.
- Active SC Clearance is required along with good communication skills.
