Overview
The role of Contract Senior Civil Infrastructure Technician involves working remotely to support the engineering consultancy's civil infrastructure projects, particularly in the Data Centre sector. The technician will leverage Civil 3D software to create detailed drawings and models for various infrastructure components, contributing to the successful execution of significant projects globally.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed drawings and models using Civil 3D for roads and drainage systems.
- Develop infrastructure designs for underground utilities and foundations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate technical specifications.
- Support the execution of projects by delivering timely outputs according to project schedules.
- Conduct reviews to maintain quality standards in project deliverables.
- Potentially assist with the use of Revit for design purposes, if applicable.
Requirements
- Proficient in Civil 3D software for civil engineering tasks.
- Experience with infrastructure design pertaining to data centres or similar projects.
- Understanding of relevant engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with Revit is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
