Overview
The Senior Delivery Lead will oversee the re-platforming of a building society's mortgage origination and servicing platforms, ensuring successful project execution by leading a small team and collaborating with third-party vendors. This interim role involves engaging with key stakeholders to drive project initiatives and enhance operational processes over an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension up to 18 months, while working in a hybrid arrangement requiring two days on-site per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team in the re-platforming of mortgage origination and servicing platforms.
- Collaborate with third-party platform vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the successful implementation of project objectives within budgetary constraints.
- Provide strategic guidance on best practices for mortgage platform migrations.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Senior PM, Programme Manager, or Delivery Lead.
- Proven track record in leading mortgage servicing and/or origination platform implementations or migrations.
- Experience working with small to medium sized lenders, building societies, or banks.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Personable and engaging personality with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholder groups.
