Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer proficient in PHP and Laravel to join a high-performing team working on a large-scale online marketplace. This role involves spearheading a technology transformation initiative within a fast-paced scale-up environment, requiring strong end-to-end engineering capabilities. The candidate should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and advocating for technical decisions while collaborating with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement features on the existing PHP and Laravel stack.
- Collaborate on the transition towards a service-based architecture and AWS evaluation.
- Fix issues within the current platform and ensure high performance.
- Engage in end-to-end full-stack work, covering front-end, APIs, and data.
- Advocate for effective technical decisions and communicate clearly with the team.
- Participate in the technology transformation of the client-facing platform.
- Adapt quickly and effectively in a demanding, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Proven end-to-end full-stack experience, particularly in PHP and Laravel.
- Strong ability to work within a large, established codebase.
- Experience in advocating for technical decisions with clear communication.
- Comfortable delivering results in complex, high-volume environments.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform or CDK) is preferred.
- Experience in retail or e-commerce is a plus.
- Knowledge of GenAI or agentic workflows is advantageous.
