Overview
The Technical Business Analyst/Technical Product Owner will collaborate with marketing and digital teams to enhance customer data and personalization capabilities within the Adobe Experience Platform. This role focuses on translating business requirements into precise XDM specifications, ensuring alignment with the enterprise data platform. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis and modelling to establish consistency between systems and facilitate effective data governance.
Responsibilities
- Run discovery sessions with stakeholders to capture use cases and business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into XDM schemas, field groups, datasets, and identity namespaces.
- Define standardized naming conventions, data types, and structures for consistent concepts across systems.
- Ensure parity between Adobe Experience Platform and the enterprise data platform by identifying and resolving mismatches.
- Translate XDM specifications into actionable source data requirements for the enterprise data team.
- Manage and prioritize the backlog for the Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time CDP roadmap.
- Embed data governance practices to ensure compliance with UK GDPR and internal standards.
- Track delivery value through agreed KPIs such as audience activation and match rates.
Requirements
- Deep data analysis capability, including source data profiling and data quality definition.
- Strong data modelling skills with experience in schema design for JSON or event-based data.
- Ability to translate business requirements into build-ready data specifications.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Experience working as a Technical BA or Product Owner in a data or martech environment.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform tools is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
