Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to contribute to a crucial public sector digital transformation programme. This role, working within agile, multidisciplinary teams, involves engaging with stakeholders to bridge user needs and technical delivery. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement requiring on-site attendance twice a month and focuses on leading complex analysis and ensuring alignment with Government Digital Service standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex requirements gathering and elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate user research and policy intent into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Map current and future state processes and support service blueprinting.
- Ensure design work aligns with Government Digital Service standards and user-centred principles.
- Facilitate workshops across operational, policy, and senior management teams.
- Support programme governance and preparation for GDS service assessments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in complex public sector environments.
- Deep understanding of the GDS digital delivery lifecycle.
- Proficiency in agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to translate user needs into clear documentation.
