Overview
As a Senior Hardware Engineer specializing in analogue systems, you will leverage your in-depth technical expertise to contribute to the full development life-cycle of defence products. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will engage in analysis, design, integration, and testing efforts, ensuring that project objectives are met effectively. Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
- Create and modify electronic designs and architectures for analogue circuits.
- Utilize simulation tools to develop verification test benches for designs.
- Participate in design reviews to evaluate and improve designs collaboratively.
- Maintain configuration control throughout the development process.
- Integrate hardware components to ensure cohesive system functionality.
- Support manufacturing during build and testing phases to ensure specifications are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in analog circuit design, including amplifiers, filters, and oscillators.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Familiarity with analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and mixed-signal design principles.
- Experience in power management and designing power supply circuits.
- Proficient in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of requirements capture, work package definition, and effort estimation.
- Experience with module and system commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with the implementation of development guidelines set out by RTCA/DO-254 is preferred.
