Overview
We are seeking a Senior Procurement FM Specialist on an interim basis for a 9-12 month contract, focusing on integrating recent acquisitions and enhancing procurement initiatives across facilities management and fleet categories. The contractor will lead projects in contract harmonisation and supplier consolidation while collaborating with various stakeholders to drive efficiency and support the overall UK procurement strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement integration of recent acquisitions including contract harmonisation and supplier consolidation.
- Conduct spend analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and achieve procurement efficiencies.
- Support the UK procurement and fleet strategy through category management and sourcing initiatives.
- Oversee RFP/RFQ processes and negotiate contracts ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Provide strategic input into projects and ensure a sustainable handover to the permanent team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement and category management, particularly within the UK FM industry.
- Strong track record of managing integration projects and delivering measurable savings.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with procurement systems such as SAP or Navision and advanced Excel/analytics tools.
- Ability to independently deliver results under tight deadlines.
