Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer for a 6-month remote contract, with a strong possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will take ownership of complex customer journeys, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver high-quality digital products. This hands-on role demands a proactive approach to design, ensuring a balance between user experience, business needs, and regulatory considerations while embracing new technologies and design methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of digital products and customer experiences from concept to launch.
- Translate user needs, insights, and data into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs to bring ideas to life.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to facilitate production of design ideas.
- Balance user experience with business needs, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance existing design systems and work processes to improve efficiency.
- Prioritize accessibility and inclusive design in all deliverables.
- Explore and integrate AI tools to optimize the design process.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in digital product design.
- Strong skills in UX, interaction, and visual design.
- Proficient in Figma and experience with component-based design systems.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
- Ability to use insight, data, and customer feedback to drive design decisions.
- Interest in AI and willingness to experiment with tools to enhance workflows.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in regulated or complex digital products is advantageous but not essential.
